NutriSmart USA unveils cross-marketing barter program with gyms and health spas

Today, David E. Hammer, President of NutriSmart USA LLC unveiled “a very exciting cross-marketing program. We will trade our NutriSmart USA weight loss program book packages, on a dollar-for-dollar basis with gyms and health spas in exchange for their membership and gift certificates,” Hammer explained. Gyms and health spas go hand-in-glove with nutrition, which accounts for sixty percent in achieving fitness goals. According to Rammer, “gyms and spas may sell the NutriSmart USA book package to their customers at NutriSmart USA’s full price, US$269.99, or at any discount they choose. “The money generated by gyms and health spas is for them to keep. It’s found money--bottom line dollars--for them,” Hammer noted.

When asked what he’ll do with gym and spa memberships and gift certificate credits for which he trades, Hammer stated “we’ll sell the memberships or gift certificates through our marketing channels. We’ll add new customers to the gyms and spas. Our incentive is to sell as many as we can.” Hammer smiled when he said, “Every gym and spa in America should want to participate with us. There’s no downside or risk. Everyone wins!”

Hammer indicated that he’s focused on gyms and spas which are owned by independents. Hammer added that he is also interested to trade with one of the major national chains--Bally Fitness, L.A. Fitness, Gold’s Gym, Lady America and others--and is beginning to explore such a synergistic relationship.

In addition to this cross-marketing program increasing NutriSmart USA’s visibility on a national scale, customers of gyms and spas who purchase the book packages from the gyms and spas will have the opportunity to participate in the NutriSmart USA network marketing program and earn commissions.

Hammer also indicated that he is considering to expand this cross-marketing trade concept to reach hair and beauty salons, personal fitness trainers, and others. “This exciting development has very far reaching implications. We expect to roll out this concept into several additional industry segments. We’re open for discussion.”
